After changing the fuel pump and pressure regulator I continue to have the same high idle and AFR issues. The fuel pump sounds much better, but the primary problem remains.

This happened to me multiple times on the same trip into town. It idles higher than it should until I shut it off and restart it.

I’ve had problems multiple times in the last week with my Sniper EFI stalling on the trail and not restarting without a 10-15 minute cooling period. The symptoms I am showing here in this video are similar to what I experienced several times before these Stalling effects would occur.

Our First Day at Moab, UT with my 1974 Jeep CJ5. Part 2 of the extra run we squeezed in on the the main loop of Hell's Revenge. We ran Fins & Things earlier in the day and figured we could make Hell's Revenge before daylight ran out...... or not. Route finding was a bit more difficult as the light faded and we missed a few things, but it was a great adventure! Something to come back for.....

This was our first Day at Moab, UT (November 2, 2020). We finished Fins & Things and had just enough time to squeeze in the main loop of "Hell's Revenge"..... or so we thought. This guy flagged us down on the trail and asked us if we would stand by while he made an attempt on Mickey's Hot Tub. He would be needing another vehicle as an anchor point for his winch. We were happy to help out. It turns out his buddies didn't know how to use the winch, so my friend Craig ended up doing double duty on both the camera and the winch control. :-)

This is the section of Fins N Things 4x4 trail located north of Sand Flats Rd. A carbureted 1974 CJ5 and a near stock 1992 XJ. The CJ is equipped with a front locker and limited slip rear-end. The XJ has open differentials. A great introduction to wheeling at Moab!

Fins N Things is a great introduction to wheeling at Moab, UT. This was our first run on our first day. My buddy was driving a near stock '92 XY with open differentials and 31" all-terrain tires. his only modification is a 3" lift.
